Public Sector

The Faculty’s Collaborative Partnerships in Health and Medicine programme supports joint working with private, public and voluntary sectors, both nationally and globally.

Key activities in research and professional development are delivered through two platforms: the NHS / University Lancashire and Cumbria Clinical Research Hub and our innovative Negotiated Work-based Learning Framework. This distinctive combination provides a unique package for enabling access to knowledge, expertise and resources, facilitating research collaborations, arranging consultancy and supporting the development of strategic partnerships according to the needs of individual organisations.

Sectors
Health; Education; Social Care; Life Sciences; Biomedicine and Biotechnology; Medical Devices and Technologies.
For example, we work currently with:
National Health Service; Department of Health; National Institute of Health Research; NHS North West; BioNoW; Research: Improving End of Life Care
