Situated within Lancaster University Management School - one of the UK's leading business schools - the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (IEED) undertakes outstanding work in the fields of entrepreneurial research, education and business support.
Over the past decade we have developed a range of programmes to meet the changing demands of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help your business innovate and grow. We have assisted more than 1500 SMEs in recent years. The Institute has built a thriving network of businesses that recognise the benefits of maintaining close relationships with us and with one another.
We provide support for SMEs focusing on innovation, people & leadership, strategy & planning, marketing and entrepreneurship.
Our current offerings include LEAD, GOLD, the Innovation for Growth Project and our student consultancy projects, delivering invaluable bespoke support for your business.

Our work focuses upon North West SMEs from a broad spectrum of sectors, including Business & Professional, Digital, Advanced Engineering, Biomedical and Food.
