For the Lancaster Award you must complete at least 1 activity in this areaThis is a wide-ranging section in which you can show off your skills! The types of activities that you might complete here include things such as music qualifications, learning a foreign language or an IT course. In this section we really encourage you to be imaginative. For examples of the kind of activities you might consider in any of these sections, see our list here. This list is intended to be a starting point only, you may wish to suggest other activities that you feel would help you gain the skills needed. |

Our emphasis is not on your activities, but what you have learnt from them and how you reflect on your experiences.
Once you feel you have completed activity in this area, make a note on the activities checklist . This can be updated as you complete activities in each area. Then refer back to your Skills Bank and be sure to note where and how you have achieved a new skill. |
N.B. One-year postgraduate students, who studied their undergraduate degree at another institution, should read this note.
