The Lancaster Award Team will be running a "drop-in" session for Lancaster Award applicants to come and discuss their Skills Banks. It is an opportunity for those of you who need some help with completing the Skills Bank to come ask questions.
Now is the ideal time to get your Skills Banks completed so that you can be submitted and ready for the November interviews (more details to come).

1. Your submission deadline is extended to the same date as our second-years deadline (i.e. not the final-years deadline).
2. If you studied for your undergraduate degree at another institution (i.e not at Lancaster University) then the following concessions apply:

As you may have noticed, we're currently in the process of revamping the Lancaster Award website. Look out for the video interviews with past successful applicants - we hope they'll help you with completing your application. We're also in the process of removing a lot of the text and replacing it with easier to read tables and images.
We hope that, after we're done, the website will be easier to navigate, find the information you want and be more interactive.

Thursday June 9th saw students, and The Lancaster Award team alike, don their best business attire for the presentation ceremony of The Lancaster Award. We're a proud bunch, so congratulating all those successful students on their hard work is something we always look forward to - that, and the buffet afterwards of course!
But it wasn't just us who wanted to get involved...
The Award was launched in September 2009 and has had a very successful pilot year.
It has attracted much attention from employers, academic staff and the press.
The Chancellor, Sir Christian Bonington CBE presented the certificates to almost 100 students in June and over 700 other students are currently working to achieve the Award.
