The Lancaster Award Ceremony 2009-2010

The Chancellor, Sir Christian Bonington CBE presented the certificates to almost 100 students in June 2010. He was delighted by the range of activities undertaken by the students and the new skills and confidence they had developed. He mingled with the students happily posing for photos and giving autographs.

Mr John Morewood from HSBC has been a strong supporter of the Award from its inception and was delighted to meet all the students at the ceremony. He gave an excellent speech commending the students on the hard work they had put into gaining the Award and confirmed the value that employers place on these activities. He felt that our students would be in a much stronger place in the graduate recruitment market.
