What a difference 264 days make...
What have we been up to since our last news post we hear you ask. Well, let us fill you in a little bit...
Thursday June 9th saw students, and The Lancaster Award team alike, don their best business attire for the presentation ceremony of The Lancaster Award. We're a proud bunch, so congratulating all those successful students on their hard work is something we always look forward to - that, and the buffet afterwards of course!
But it wasn't just us who wanted to get involved in the celebrations. The day was completed by special guest speakers John Clayton (BBC Radio Lancashire Managing Editor), Amanda Chetwynd (Lancaster's Pro-Vice Chancellor for the Colleges and the Student experience) and Joanne Allday (Managing Director and Founder of Showing Off Ltd), who shared her words of wisdom to the students about life after university.
John Clayton got some great feedback from the students on The Lancaster Award, which aired on BBC Radio Lancashire last week. Have a listen to the clip on the 'ceremony' page, you might recognise some familiar voices. You might even recognise some familiar faces by flicking through the official photos on the page too!
And finally, who could forget the famous Lancaster Award cake.

See, we do treat you!
We can't wait to celebrate again next year - our aim is to double the amount of Lancaster Award achievers for an even bigger celebration! Are you with us?
