Lancaster Award logo usage policy:

The use of the Lancaster Award crested logo (top of site) is normally restricted to use within the pages of Lancaster University. Other organisations are instead encouraged to use the 'tick' logo, however, if use of the crested logo is preferred, please contact us for permission stating why you would prefer to use this logo.

The 'tick' logo is primarily designed for volunteer organisations who wish to promote that their volunteering opportunities can be used to count towards the Lancaster Award application process. It is also for use by students organisations (e.g. clubs & societies), JCRs and employers offering work placements to indicate that participation in their organisation/scheme would count toward the Lancaster Award.

Permission is not currently required for use of the 'tick' logo, so long as the logo is used in the spirit of the examples above. We wouldn't mind you letting us know, though, if you are going to use the logo (so we can keep tracks on how it is being used and to also promote your organisation in our literature). Any misuse of the logo will be treated at copyright infringement, please also note that the logo may not be changed in anyway (except to resize it).
