1. Why doesn’t a link from myModules appear?
If there is no link from your myModules page, it may mean that none of your current modules use online assessments. If you know that an online assessment is scheduled for you and you do not see a link then contact Learning Technology Group .
2. Why can't I see any assessments after I log in?
If you cannot see any assessments, this is because there are no assessments available to you. Some assessments are only available between certain times and some assessments have limits on the number of attempts that you can have. Check with your lecturer to see if assessments should be available to you and whether you have attempted the assessment the maximum number of times.
3. Why can't I see any graphics in the assessment?
Some questions require javascript to be enabled in order to show the graphics correctly. If all you see is a box with an X in the top left hand corner then this is because Javascript is not enabled on your machine. Click "internet Settings" from the "tools" menu and make sure that "Enable Javascript" is checked.
If Javascript is enabled and you still have the same problem, try using a different computer. If this does not solve the problem, contact either your lecturer or Learning Technology Group .
4. I accidentally closed my browser during an assessment, can I restart it?
Possibly. Every time you start an assessment a progress file is created. If your computer crashes or you accidentally close down your browser you should be able to immediately restart the assessment. You can do this by going to the screen with the list of assessments and click the link that says “Show unfinished assessments. Progress file are only retained for 48 hours so if you try to restart an assessment that is over 2 days old it will no longer be available.
This only works for assessments that have not been submitted. If you have pressed the "submit" or "end" button you will not be able to redo those questions.
