What are News Feeds?
In general, RSS News feeds allow you to see when websites have added new content without having to visit the websites where the content was updated.
For a more detailed explanation see Wikipedia
How do I start using feeds?
You need software called a news reader. This is a piece of software that automatically checks the whether a feed has new content.
You can use a stand alone News Reader:
Or you can use a browser that can access feeds for you:
Internet Explorer 7
Firefox 3, http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/
Subscribing to a RSS News Feed
Once you have chosen a news reader, to receive your feed you have to subscribe to it. In the CELT website locate the 'Shortcuts' menu section in the left hand menu. Within this section choose a RSS feed from the drop-down menu named 'Categories / RSS'.
Once within the category page click on the
RSS feed icon to subscribe to the feed.
