Georgia Georgiou (LTG) receives a Teaching Award from the Lancaster University Chancellor, Sir Chris Bonington.

This award recognises Miss Georgiou's imaginative use of e-learning and related technology to focus on enhancing learning processes and outcomes, which has had a great impact on raising the quality of teaching across the University.

She has engaged very effectively with staff from different disciplinary areas, and has built longer-term relationships with departments. Miss Georgiou has taken a fluid approach to the use of technology as a tool, building extremely effective learning solutions and supporting their implementation by working with students to help embed new approaches.
