How to Become an Academy
Becoming an academy is an easy and simple 3 step process.
Step 1: Let us know about your interest
The first step is to complete an online enquiry form. This form will gather important details about you and your institution. Once we receive your enquiry, a member of our team will get back to you an get the ball rolling.
Step 2: Meeting up
At this stage we typically like to arrange a meeting between our Academy Team and you. In addition, we also like to invite your curriculum/faculty manager along as well. We feel that it is essential that every level of your faculty is aware of what setting up an Academy involves. As part of this meeting we will discuss issues surrounding funding and set up for the curricula that you are interested in. We will also facilitate communication between you and a Cisco education sales representative to determine technology needs and order lab equipment needed for the curriculum.
Once both parties are happy they will need to sign a support contract for each curriculum that you are interested.
Step 3: Determine training, technology, and lab setup
Once the support contract is signed we can determine your training requirements and enrol your instructors on the appropriate courses. During this time we will also advise and help you with the technology and your lab set up.
Your instructors will then need to complete the required training to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate. If you are an instructor please check out our instructor information page.
