Police Registration Certificate

If you applied for a new Police registration Certificate during the University registration at the beginning of October please come to ‘The Base’ in University House to collect it at the following times:

Wednesday 2nd November 1 – 2pm
Thursday 3rd November 9.30 - 10.30am
Friday 4th November 12 – 1pm

Please bring your passport with you as proof of identification. Please do not try to collect outside these times. If you cannot attend during these times then please email international.support@lancaster.ac.uk for an alternative time to collect.

Welcome from the Mayor of Lancaster

The Right Worshipful the Mayor of Lancaster, Councillor Paul Woodruff has issued an invitation to Lancaster University international students to attend a welcome evening in the Banqueting Suite at Lancaster Town Hall on Wednesday 2nd November. The event will start at 6.45pm and will finish at 8.30pm. The evening will include a formal welcome from the Mayor of Lancaster including photo opportunities, a presentation about Lancaster and surrounding areas and a short display and tour of the Town Hall. Light refreshments will also be served.

This opportunity is available to 150 new international students. If you wish to attend then please go to The Base in University House to sign up for this event. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Transportation will not be provided so you will need to travel independently in to Lancaster.

Rotary Club Lancaster

We were delighted to have the chance to meet with you at the University International Students’ Orientation morning on the 6th October.  We do want to keep in touch and as a next step we would like you to meet with us to talk a little more about what Rotary International and Rotaract clubs can offer you and what your choices are if you wish to link further with us.
We have fixed the next meeting for Tuesday 1st November, Lecture Theatre 4 of George Fox Building at 7pm. There will be light refreshments and a chance for you to meet with each other and us. The evening will be very informal.
We do need some idea of numbers for catering arrangements, so it would help us greatly if you would let us know if you intend to join us then. Please do this not later than Wednesday October 26th.
