The SCR

In College terms SCR has two meanings  Firstly it is a place - The Senior Common Room - in the case of Lonsdale College you will find this room on the first floor of Lonsdale House.  Secondly, and more importantly the SCR also means the Senior Members of the College.  All staff at the University are allocated to a particular College.  If you have been fortunate enough to be in Lonsdale then we endevour to run a number of social events to allow you to meet other like-minded people.  You are also encouraged to get involved with the welfare and management aspects of the College.
