It’s a Write-Off: Writing for Rights!

Join us – March 1st, 8:00 pm at Pendle College Bar 74 for a night of charity, poetry, and advocacy!

The event will showcase the talents of Radio 4’s Bespoken Word poet Byron Vincent,
performance poet Miss P as well as the beautiful and wistful work of Nigerian Kal Iyalla.

Later in the evening Lancaster band ‘Soulrigg’ will be performing their stunning new song ‘Laughs out Loud’ which will kick off the launch of Stepping Stones Nigeria’s new five-minute ‘Stepping –Up film which highlights Stepping Stones Nigeria’s work to support vulnerable and abused children in the Niger Delta. The song will also be made available as a free download after the event.

The evening activities also includes, an open mic session which is a chance for you to present some of your own poetry, a raffle, lucky dip and food!

All proceeds go to Stepping Stones Nigeria.

Pendle Social: Wine Tasting with Bob and Cheese!

Wednesday 6th March from 7pm in the Errington Room in Pendle Rooms

Bob Brown, Pendle’s Vice Principal, has personally chosen a selection of wines for us to try for a minimal cost of £5 per person. They are not the usual wines you would find on the supermarket shelves but something a bit different. The price also includes cheese and crackers. Come along and catch up with your fellow Pendle friends.
