Residences

Pendle residences are on the southern side of the campus and have some of the best views beyond Lancaster University. There are 401 modern standard rooms, and over 200 superior ensuite rooms. Pendle also has 72 self-contained studios; these are mainly single occupancy and normally liked by students wanting their own independent space. There are no communal or social spaces such as kitchens in the Studio block so think carefully if you want to choose one.

Standard

Pendle’s standard rooms with washbasins were built in 1994 and typically about eight residents share a kitchen, 2 shower rooms and 2 WCs . Contracts run for 40 weeks, with a 2011/12 weekly rent of £79.45

Ensuite

Pendle has a quad of superior ensuite accommodation on South West campus. This accommodation was built circa 2004. Each room has its own shower and WC.Contracts run for 40 weeks, with a 2011/12 weekly rent of £112.70

Studio

Studios are for those students who like their own space. Studios have a kitchen area comprising a microwave, fridge freezer and a two ring hob cooker. They also have their own shower and WC. Contracts run for 40 weeks with a 2011/12 weekly rent of �126.00
