le is an interesting word
Three meanings is what I have heard
When something has passed
Or a change in contrast
A new situation’s the third

Ba is another strange word
A mild imperative with it is inferred
Zanmen zou ba
Let’s go (but not far)
Is the meaning which is conferred

Some comments from recent students

Just the other day I met a Chinese delegation in our building and they looked a little lost. I asked if they were looking for the toilet and they answered in Chinese and I was very pleased because I understood it. So I managed to point them in the right direction (in English).

Now I will have confidence in visiting China.

Very good teacher!

Very well organised and very well taught.

Really enjoyed the lessons, thanks!

Chinese is difficult!

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, thank you for the opportunity.

The course was helpful for the Lancaster Award and encouraged my interest in China.  Nice teacher and class of people.
