The University Logo - Colour
This page summarises how you should use colour when using the University logo. For guidance on placement of the logo within a design, please see the placement section.
The University Logo is the combination of both the red graphical element and the 'Lancaster University' text. These elements should never be separated or adjusted in either size or relationship.
The logo is the visual shorthand for everything we represent, so it is important to maintain its integrity by keeping it strong and consistent in all uses. Correct usage of the University Logo helps to present a consistent view of the University to all our audiences.
Wording always appears to the left of the symbol and should always be presented in a positive colour way. In limited circumstances, a reversed-out version may be used.
The logo is available in a variety of formats suitable for print, web and by commercial design agencies. If you wish to use the logo for your own publications, please contact the Marketing Services team for the correct format.
Please do not copy the logo from these pages as the resolution quality cannot be guaranteed.
