New Environmental Team

A new environmental team has been established at the university making their first public debut at the recent Freshers Fair. Philip Longton and Jonathan Mills are set to work on Lancaster Green Agenda and hope to push for positive environmental changes.

Environmental Involvement

All members of the University are asked to help to improve our environmental performance and aim to minimise the negative impacts that our day-to-day activities have on the environment.

A detailed environmental management system is being developed, incorporating an Environmental Policy and an Environmental Programme which will include specific actions to be taken to meet environmental targets.

The environmental management system will manage the significant environmental aspects of the University's activities. The environmental policy has been drafted, and will be posted on this site as soon as it has been agreed. The policy document will set out the broad environmental principles to be adopted throughout the University.
