Recycling Initiatives: GreenLancaster
Fylde V Furness
Fylde and Furness are in battle to see who is the greenest college, this innitiative is for the colleges to actively recycle in order to win £250 for their college (and to boost the Universitites commitment to recylcing, of course!)
The County College
County College is part of a flagship initiative with GreenLancaster and WRAP (National Waste and Recycling Action Programme)
Recycling facilities exist around the campus for a number of material types, and these have been improved over the recent month. To check where to recycle paper, cardboard, glass, plastic bottles and ink cartridges, view the attached Recycle Map and schedule of Recycling facilities
Students who are resident in the central area of campus have been provided with green boxes to help increase involvement in recycling.
