The holiday in the central administration will be taken as follows:

(iii) Easter 2013

The University will close at 5.30 pm on Wednesday 27 March 2013 and reopen at 9.00 am on Thursday 4th April 2013

(iv) Bank Holidays 2013

(ii) Christmas and New Year 2013

The Vice-Chancellor has exceptionally authorised that, this year, the University will close at 5.00 pm on Friday 20 December 2013 and re-open at 9.00am Thursday 2 January 2014.

(iii) Easter 2014

The University will close at 5.30 pm on Wednesday 16 April 2014 and reopen at 9.00 am on Wednesday 23 April 2014

It is recommended that these periods should be used throughout the University, but Heads of Departments may make other arrangements as necessary. Where staff are required to work during the Christmas and Easter closure periods, replacement days will be granted.
