Introduction to Moodle
This 2 hourly course is for all teaching and administrative staff who will be using the Moodle VLE in October 2012, as it replaces the deprecated 'LUVLE' system. Learn how to design your module content in Moodle, which offers more possibilities than previous VLE provision.

Using Questionmark Perception for online assessments
This course is for new and current staff who use or want to use online assessments in their teaching.
Content:
- An overview of Questionmark Perception, the university supported online assessment tool.
- The new features of Questionmark Version 5
- How online assessments are currently being used
- Online assessment Q&A with e-learning advisor
- Hands on session using the tool to create and schedule an assessment.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the session you should be able to:
- Create new questions and assessments
- Understand how to schedule an assessment to a group of students
- Know who your LTG e-learning consultant is and how to make contact
