The meeting will bring together, in an informal setting, the active gravitational research community in the UK and beyond and will provide a forum for the exchange of ideas. Current research students and postdoctoral researchers from UK universities are particularly encouraged to participate in the meeting.
The topic of the meeting is General Relativity and Gravity including mathematical
cosmology and gravitational physics covering classical, quantum and
experimental aspects.
Participants are invited to give a short talk on some
recent work. In addition there will be pedagogic
lectures by international leaders
in the field. The number and duration of the talks will be fixed once we
know the
total number of applicants. If your talk is based on a preprint that is
available at the arXiv.org archives, please state its archive/yymmnnn
registration number with the submission of your abstract. For the purpose
of presentation, data and overhead projectors and boards will be available.
Invited lecturers:
Professor
Arthur E Fischer (University of California Santa Cruz) "The Hamiltonian
Reduction of General Relativity"
Professor
Jim Hough
(University of Glasgow) "Wrinkles in Relativity: the Search for Gravitational Waves"

talk is selected to be the best. If you want your presentation to be
considered for this award, please indicate that you are a research student
when submitting your abstract.
