Controlled Access to Hazardous Areas
It is important to control the risk to University employees and Contractors who are expected to work in areas where hazardous activities are carried out or where hazardous situations exist. Entry to such areas should only take place after authorisation by a nominated representative of the department in which the work is to be carried out. The policy describes the procedure by which this control is achieved.
