The basic rule to remember when reading these World Wide Web pages is that anything in purple or blue can be clicked on - and will take you to another page of information.
In this case, "Clicking on" means moving the mouse pointer over the word in blue/purple, and pressing and releasing the left hand mouse button. Things that can be clicked on are called links. Click here to try it now.
You can also use the buttons on your Web Browser (the piece of software you are using to read this) to help you navigate through WWW pages. There are several buttons (usually at the top of the window) to click on - the most useful of these is the "Back" button.
If you are using the popular Browser called "Netscape" your back button will look like this:
![[Back]](../images/backbut.gif)
This button will take you back to the last page you visited - so if you find yourself at a page, and want to return to the previous one, clicking on back will return you to that page.
