
Business Support provides leadership, direction and management for the administrative functions included within the Business Support areas of responsibility. These include financial management within Facilities, overseeing the management and development of the Planon (Facilities CAFM) system, completing the HEFCE EMS return, maintaining the Facilities Website, capital and revenue budget planning and monitoring, administrative procedures, and management of staff with an administrative/support function within the department.
The Business Support Team will contribute to the development and implementation of the Facilities Strategy, the Facilities Masterplan and the Financial Strategy, and will take responsibility for leading the development of other computer applications/systems to support the Facilities Division, particularly the Website, and producing financial reports as well as other management reports e.g. performance monitoring reports from Planon.
