New Bus Timetable for Service 42: Blackpool – Garstang – Lancaster University – Lancaster
Stagecoach will be operating a revised timetable for the 42 service from 31st December. To view the new timetables please see the Stagecoach website.
Campus Roads
From the week commencing 17th December, work to the cycle route to Bailrigg Lane will commence to repair damaged areas in the road surface. Roads will remain open; however some delay may be experienced in order to create space for passing traffic. This work is weather dependant, should adverse weather conditions prevent completion of the works the Contractor will return following the Christmas break.

Staff Travel Survey - win up to £150!
Thank you to all staff that completed the recent Staff Travel Survey and entered the prize draw. Over 40% of you responded and the information you provided is now being analysed. Congratulations to the following members of staff who were selected at random in the prize draw:

Lancaster University wins sustainable travel award
Lancaster University has been awarded the title of Commuter Friendly Workplace of the Year in the ACT TravelWise awards for sustainable travel. The award is for the organisation that can demonstrate having made the biggest strides towards making their offices more accessible to commuters without single occupancy car use. The proportion of staff travelling to work by bus has doubled since 2004 while the proportion travelling alone by car is down by 17% and the proportion of staff car sharing is up by 17% over the same period from 2007 to 2011.
