Demolition of the old Centre for Sport and Recreation

Preparation for the demolition of the old Centre for Sport and Recreation has begun. Hoardings will be erected prior to demolition.
Brandrigg Barn

Essential maintenance and repair works to the existing structure to make it weatherproof and secure. Work commenced in January 2013 and is due to last for 12 weeks.
Lake Carter Bridge

The construction of a bridge link from Bigforth Barn to the Sports Centre is due to commence on site in the spring.
Bowland Main retail units
Project Manager: Chris Maughan
Four retail units are to be created in Bowland Main, and works to windows and doors will begin in March 2013.
Minor works and refurbishments
Recarpeting, repainting and replacement of seats and furnishings in Furness Lecture Theatres 1, 2 and 3 over the Easter break.
Supply and installation of cycle shelters to Pre-School, Graduate College, Management School and Barker House Farm scheduled to start on site spring 2013.
