Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of administration within the department of Applied Social Science.

Background

This is my third role at Lancaster University, having previously worked as Faculty Postgraduate Admissions Officer in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Postgraduate Co-ordinator in the Department of Sociology. Some years before that I worked in the Faculty of Education at Birmingham Polytechnic (now Birmingham City University) and University of Bradford Management Centre.

I have also been the admistrator of a fitness centre, worked for two years as a volunteer at the Option Institute International Learning and Training Center in Massachusetts, USA (www.option.org) and, before moving to Kendal, led a team delivering Basic Skills teaching and information resources for business and staff development within Transport for London.
