Funding for PhD Research in the Department of Applied Social Science
Funding opportunities - Faculty of Arts and Social SciencesThe Department of Applied Social Science is delighted to announce a new funding initiative. A Faculty Postgraduate Bursary will be available for either full-time or part-time study, to pay the full four years of tuition fees for a criminology student to undertake an MRes and PhD in the department, starting either in September 2012 or January 2013, and worth £5,500 in the first year. To apply, applicants need to have already been offered a place on the MRes Criminology degree and should submit one sheet of A4 paper with provisional ideas for a PhD project to Jules Knight by 5pm on Wednesday 20th June.
