CeDR Reading Group: Voice Hearing and Social ModelsDate: 24 March 2011 Time: 14.00-16.00 Venue: FASS Building (formerly IAS) Meeting Room 1 The CeDR Reading Group is especially meant for PGR students and other CeDR members who are interested in coming along. The informal discussion will be an enjoyable way to advance our ideas and knowedge in Disability Studies. The readings selected for this session are: Escher, S., Morris, M., Builks, A., Delespaul, P., Van Os, J and Romme, M (2004) Determinants of outcome in the pathways through care for children hearing voices. International Journal of Social Welfare, 13, 208-222. Spandler, H. and Calton, T. (2009) Psychosis and Human Rights: Conflicts in Mental Health Policy and Practice, Social Policy and Society, 8, 245-256. Bob Sapey will be leading the discussion.
