Date: 17 July 2012 The English-language premiere of Elfriede Jelinek's Sports Play, held in the Nuffield Theatre, has received some excellent online reviews, including a mention on the blog of New York theatre critic, George Hunka. The premiere was part of a series of events co-hosted by staff in LICA and DELC. For a detailed review, read Andrew Haydon's blog: http://postcardsgods.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/sports-play-nuffield-theatre-lancaster.html For passages from an interview that Jelinek gave to coincide with the premiere, read George Hunka's posting: http://www.superfluitiesredux.com/2012/07/17/elfriede-jelinek-i-dont-think-of-the-audience-for-one-second/
