What do I do? Who do I see?
From time to time, you may want some information about the course, your own work or facilities at the University. You may also have problems with your health, your accommodation or lost property.
The questions that have arisen on previous courses are listed below with an indication of which staff member is most likely to be able to help you. If that person cannot help you, he/she will be able to direct you to someone who can help.
Helen and Sharon,
the Academic Coordinators, can advise you when:
• you want to see someone in your future academic
department
• you want information about English classes during the academic
year
• you need help using the website or have found an error you
wish to report
Your personal tutor can advise you when:
• you want to talk about your work on the course
• you want permission to be absent from class
• you want to inform someone about any personal worries
Louise, the Administration Coordinator, can advise you when:
• you've had something stolen
• you've lost something
• you have problems with your accommodation in during the Course
• you want information about where to go to find accommodation
for the coming year
• you want information about the social programme
• you want to see a doctor/dentist/optician
• you want information about Lancaster and the surrounding
area
