Oxford English Dictionary - Usueful learning resources, why don't you sign up for 'word of the day by email'? (You need to be a member to use this dictionary.)

Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English - One of the most popular dictionaries for English learners.

Merriam-Webster Online - Online dictionary and thesaurus together, and have fun with the word game.

Dictionary.com - You can not only look up for a word, but also try the thesaurus, translator.

ETYM Online - An online dictionary on the origin of words.

Please beware of plagiarism! Copying all or part of another person's work without proper referencing is an extremely serious academic offence and will not be tolerated. Records are kept of who has which essays from the essay bank.
