Welcome to the Department of Media, Film & Cultural Studies
The Department is a member of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and provides a home for the interdisciplinary study of culture, media, film and American Studies at Lancaster University. Its collaborative ethos is genuinely admired outside Lancaster where it is recognised as one of the factors which contributes to Lancaster's overall strength in teaching and research.
