Role and responsibilities

I have worked in C SALT since January 1995 and I am now the Masters Programmes Co-ordinator and Programme Co-ordinator for our Part-Time Taught Doctoral programme in E-Research and Technology Enhanced Learning. I also support C SALT staff with their project work.

I am also the Administrator for the Networked Learning Conference, a bi-annual research-based conference on networked learning in higher education and lifelong learning and Membership Secretary for the Gender & Education Association.

2010 will see the 5th Higher Education Close Up (HECU5) Conference hosted at Lancaster University and I will be the Adminstrator for this.

I spend a lot of my spare time working for local community groups, I am Adminstrator and Treasurer for Forton Breakfast/After School Club treasurer Forton Field Dayand PCC secretary for St James Church, Forton.

Prior to working at Lancaster I was a Front of House Manager in various hotels around the country with a special interest in Personnel & Training.

Other Interests and Hobbies

In my spare time I enjoy cycling, swimming, learning Spanish and travelling in Spain.
