Profile

I work part-time with the REAP (Researching Equity, Access and Participation) team in Educational Research.  My current work includes evaluation of the Barrow Engineering Project.  Previous work includes research for the Students' Careers and Alumni Experiences project, the evaluation of the Bright Links Engineering e-mentoring scheme, the evaluation of Aimhigher Cumbria's STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) activities, and the evaluation of robotics activities provided by Cumbria STEM Centre Ltd for Aimhigher Cumbria. Prior to joining REAP, I worked as a Teaching Fellow in the Computing Department at Lancaster University. I have also worked as a professional librarian.  I am a part-time student on the Doctoral Programme in Educational Research and my provisional thesis title is "The representation of Higher Education in some UK newspapers during key episodes in 2010".
