Information for International Students

We welcome application from colleagues who are based overseas. As the programme is a distance learning it allows you to study wherever you are based while allowing full participation in each module. The programme structure remains the same however, attendance requirements are different, in addition non EU students fees are also different.

Attendance requirements

European based participants

Applicants and participants based within the European Union are required to come to their first module induction day. This is a 2 day residential that is held on a Friday and Saturday. Following this, participants are encouraged to attend as many module inductions as they are able but we do not make this attendance mandatory.

Non European based participants

Applicants and participants who are based outside the European Union are required to attend Lancaster for at least one of the residential induction sessions during their period of study.

Residential Summer School option

Participation at the residential summer school will considered to be the equivalent of residential induction and students will not be required to attend. The residential summer school is a good place to start your studies with us at Lancaster, it offers an excellent opportunity to meet module tutors in addition to other programme participants.
