Graduated 2008

Suzi Bevington"The course taught me a great deal about how psychology can further understanding and support children and young people with special educational needs, and inspired me to become an Educational Psychologist. After graduating, I began working in a high school as a special needs welfare practitioner supporting students with learning and behavioural difficulties and leading speech and language withdrawal sessions. With two years experience, I successfully applied to study a Doctorate in Educational Psychology at Exeter University and have just finished my first term. The Psychology in Education course has been one of the main driving forces behind my passion for educational psychology and I would not be where I am now without it! The tutors taught in a fun and interactive way and were thoroughly supportive throughout. I highly recommend this course, particularly to anyone interested in exploring the interactions between psychology and education."
