Graduated 2009

Samantha WrigleyAfter I graduated I started volunteering at a Charity called KIND (Kids in Need and Distress) who run a schools programme for under-privileged inner-city schools, and provide toys, furniture and Christmas hampers for disadvantaged families. After 6 months there I was accepted onto a mental health nursing course at Edge Hill. I am 6 months into the course and currently on placement within a community mental health team. After I graduate, I plan on doing further training to become a child psychotherapist.

Long-term, I hope to work with children and young people with emotional and mental health problems either in an acute setting, or via therapy.
