Independent Learning

A student’s working week consists of 40 hours of study in each term week. On top of contact time in the Department each week, you are expected to spend a further 30 hours on private study including reading through and understanding lecture notes, preparing questions and discussion items for seminars or workshops, further reading of published materials, completion of coursework and preparation for exams and tests.
