IntroductionThis Handbook contains most of the basic information you will need to know during your time as an undergraduate student with the Department of English and Creative Writing. You should familiarise yourself with it at the start of each academic year and consult it regularly. Staff within the Department will assume that you are familiar with the information contained in it. Returning students should note that Regulations, as well as Course Overviews are sometimes revised. You therefore need to consult this Handbook throughout Part II. First Year students sign a contract indicating that they have read the Handbook and will abide by Departmental Regulations for the duration of their degree programme. We welcome suggestions for improving later versions of this Handbook. Please pass any suggestions to the Director of Undergraduate Studies (Courses), Dr Michael Greaney Back to Contents Next: Communication by Email
