Spreading the Word: Bibles and Early Modern ReadersDate: 4 June 2011 Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm Venue: Elizabeth Livingston Lecture Theatre This event is part of 'Living Stones', the Blackburn Cathedral and University of Lancaster Year of the Bible, 2011. The study day, which takes place from 9.30am on Saturday 4th June 2011 in the Elizabeth Livingston Lecture Theatre, will include lectures by Prof Naomi Tadmor on 'The Social Universe of the English Bible' and Prof Michael Mullett on 'The Bible for the People'. This will be followed by a workshop by Prof Alison Findlay on 'The Impact of the English Bible' and a conducted tour of the University Library exhibition with Prof Mullett.
