International Scholarships for Lancaster’s Distance Learning MA in Creative Writing
Lancaster University has expanded its highly successful Distance Learning MA in Creative Writing, allowing the admission of a new cohort of 20 new students for the academic year 2009-10. Read about our current scholarship holders. International Scholarships. We currently have four International Scholarship winners studying with us. The Scholarships are not available for 2011-12, but we are hoping to be able to offer further Scholarships in future years. In 2009 the International Scholarship awards went to Rosie Thapa (Nepal) and Joyce Chigiya (Zimbabwe) and in 2010 to Beverley Nambozo Nsengiyunva (Uganda) and Bode Asiyanbi (Nigeria). Since its inception in 1999, the Distance Learning MA has rapidly evolved into an international programme, linking students in the UK and overseas through virtual learning. The programme is mediated almost entirely by online tutorials and conferences, with a live Summer School at its mid-point.Read about Lancaster's Centre for Transcultural Writing and Research, where you can explore some of our Department's and Faculty's many international links.
