The Ravenglass Poetry Press Prize 2010

Two former Creative Writing MA students have been awarded prizes in the 2010 Ravenglass Poetry Press Competition, judged by John Burnside. The winner of the competition was Anita Sivakumaran, and Kate Horsley was a runner-up. They will have their poems published in The Ravenglass Poetry Press Anthology 2011, and a collection of Anita's poetry will be published in paperback by the Ravenglass Poetry Press.

In January 2011, Kate also won the Adoption Matters Northwest Poetry Competition.

Both Anita and Kate gained distinctions in the Creative Writing MA in 2006-7.
