Photo of cmapus in springCould Open Day visitors choosing to travel by car use the Sports Field Car Park (Visitor Car Park K), located next to the tennis courts where you are able to park free of charge. A minibus shuttle service will be running from the Sports Field Car Park (Visitor Car Park K) onto campus, and a team of students and staff will be there to meet you on your arrival and present you with a car park scratch card.

If the Sports Field Car Park is full, please could you use the Alexandra Park (Visitor Car Park). Again, a minibus shuttle service will be running from Alexandra Park on all open days and a team of students and staff will be there to meet you on arrival and present you with a car park scratch card.

When you arrive on the main university campus, please go to the Round House (number 8 on the campus map) and assemble outside in the Piazza adjacent to County College (number 7 on the campus map), where a representative from English & Creative Writing will meet you at 2.00 p.m. We will begin your visit with a talk on English and Creative Writing at Lancaster. This will be followed by a guided campus tour for students, which will include a look at undergraduate accommodation. A parents’ talk will be given during the tour, and refreshments will be served afterwards, when prospective students and parents will have the opportunity to meet members of the department. Parents will also be invited to go on a tour of campus, following their talk.
