MA Languages and CulturesPlease note this programme is not running in 2013-14. Options in African Studies or European Studies or Latin American StudiesThis MA is a particularly good choice for students who already have an idea of the field in which they would like to do MA research. The programme is assessed primarily by dissertation (120 credits) and comprises three taught modules representing (20 credits) each. All three modules can be selected from the range available in DELC and related departments in the Faculty. All the modules will be taught in English language, and each taught module is assessed by one essay of 5000 words. In addition to the three taught modules, it is a requirement that you attend a non-assessed module in research methodology offered centrally by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The choice of modules would be subject to approval from the Director of Postgraduate studies and with consultation of the dissertation supervisor allocated to the student. |
