In the Modern Languages scheme, Lancaster offers me the unique opportunity to study three languages without compromising upon any of them - I have enjoyed the same linguistic exposure and care and attention from the teaching staff of each language as somebody taking that language alone.
The corners of the world to which knowledge of three European languages can take you - both in terms of the year abroad and future employment - are also a nice bonus!
I know that my time at Lancaster has been made by the friends I found in DELC, a real family of staff and students whose members may pursue vastly different interests and subject combinations, but all share one thing - a love for languages.
