The Delegate fee remains the same as at the 2010 conference. Delegate fees include tea, coffee and lunches.
Evening meals (Tuesday & Wednesday): £19.50 per night
Campus Bed and Breakfast: £47 per night (single room)
Lancaster House Hostel: Single Rooms are £82 per night bed & breakfast. Please contact Hannah Morgan about double or family rooms.
There are two accommodation options available:
There are a limited number of accessible rooms on campus and at the hotel. They will be allocated on a first come first served basis and preference will be given to delegates attending the whole conference.
Cancellations received before Friday 10th August will be issued a full refund minus an administration charge of £30. Cancellation requests received on and after 10th August will be at the discretion of the Conference organising committee and will be subject to a minimum administration charge of £30. It is unlikely we will be able to refund accommodation/meal costs after this time.
We strive to make the conference as accessible as possible to all delegates. There is a small conference team who can provide general assistance (but not medical or personal care). If delegates need to arrange additional assistance the University's Disabilities Service recommends Allied Health Care (01524 840844/ firstname.lastname@example.org).
All the conference rooms are equipped with a loop system. There will be a palantypist with projection to large screen available in all plenary sessions.Information can be provided in alternative formats. Other access request can be considered and delegates are encouraged to make their needs known as soon as possible. The accommodation is a 10-15 minute walk from the conference centre along an accessible path.
One Voice a local disability organisation have produced an access guide for Lancaster. This includes information about public transport and hotels. It was last updated in May 2008.
Accommodation is provided in the newly built Alexandra Park at the southern end of campus and in the Lancaster House Hotel, adjacent to the University campus. All campus rooms are en-suite with shower facilities and are grouped into flats with shared access to a kitchen. Lancaster House Hotel has a variety of single, double and twin en-suite rooms.
There are a number of rooms adapted to meet the needs of wheelchair users and delegates with mobility and hearing impairments. There are a significant number of level access rooms. Please contact Hannah Morgan or Bob Sapey if you need more information

There will be a number of bursaries (a discount of £150 against the concessionary delegate fee) available to delegates with limited access to funding. Priority will be given to delegates who have not previously attended the conference. Please contact one of the conference organisers (Bob Sapey or Hannah Morgan) for more information. All applications for bursaries must be received by May 31st 2012.
