The Department of European Languages and Cultures (DELC) and the Lancaster Institute of Contemporary Arts (LICA) at Lancaster University are delighted to join forces to bring you an exciting series of public events based on the work of Austrian playwright and Nobel laureate, Elfriede Jelinek. In these pages you can find out more about how to see the touring UK premiere of Jelinek's highly acclaimed and hugely provocative Sports Play, listen in on the international academic conference that is running alongside it, and contribute to a hands-on workshop and industry-led round-table for aspiring and professional translators and cultural ambassadors working within the UK arts scene.
