Getting to the Conference Venue
The conference will take place in the Conference Building on the main campus of Lancaster University.
Detailed information can be found on the campus map: number 21 marks the location of the Conference Building which is about 4 minutes' walk from the University Underpass (number 29) where all buses (2, 2A, 3, 4 and X1) stop. The way to the venue will also be signposted on the day.
If you are coming by car, parking is avaiable for the day for £3. Tickets are available on the day from the pay-and-display machines located in the visitor parking areas. If you have any inquiry concerning direction, please email laelpgconference(at)lancaster.ac.uk.
Lancaster University Campus
The campus is set in 250 acres of landscaped parkland and is close to the Lake District. The University has numerous cultural and recreational facilities: the Lancaster Castle which has almost 1000 years history, an independent theatre studio The Dukes, art gallery, multi-denominational Chaplaincy Centre and large and well equipped sports complex.
